DETAILS FOR ENJOYING moonfest!

The Ranch is locate on County Road 4390 ... between Lampasas and Kempner on U.S. Hwy 190.  The address is 518 County Road 4390.  From Austin, take U.S. Hwy 183 North to Lampasas.  Turn right at the first light you come to in Lampasas (there will be a Valero Gas Station to your left).  At this point, you are on U.S. Hwy 190.  If you're on the correct road, you will see a Walmart on your right in about 1.25 miles.  Drive about 6.25 miles further, and then turn right onto County Road 4390.  Drive 0.4 miles to the ranch entrance on the right side of the road.  There will be someone at the gate checking that you are on the RSVP list and directing you into the event.

This is an At Your Own Risk Party.  Your attendance is an acknowledgement and an agreement to this condition.  Moonfest is an outdoor event at a Central Texas ranch.  There are bugs that bite and plants with thorns.  Be careful, watch your little ones, and have fun!

There will not be any room at the Inn! We expect Lampasas and nearby hotels to be totally booked or exorbitantly expensive.  We will have a large party tent with dedicated space underneath for people to put up tents (if that's your jam).  We will have parking areas for RVs (without any RV hookups). We will have a few portable bathrooms set up around the event, but make sure you have a plan.  We expect some folks will want to leave after the eclipse and others will want to stay and enjoy the festivities.  If you're planning to be in the "festivities" group, please have a tent or RV solution lined up ahead of time.

We've heard from others that total solar eclipses are pretty popular.  There could be a bunch of people making their way to Lampasas.  Plan accordingly.
